Color interaction

The assignment was to observe and understand behavior of colors when interacted with with other colors, as change in intensity, shape/ size and formation of after image.

Square

On concentrating on the blue square for a minute, I saw a glowing white color after image on the white background.

On concentrating on the yellow square for a minute, I saw a faint sky blue color after image on the white background.

On concentrating on the dull red square for a minute, I saw a cyan color after image on the white background. While concentrating on black dot in the center, the edges of the square seems to be glowing.

On concentrating on the black square for a minute, I saw a faint white color after image on the white background. While concentrating on black dot in the center, the edges of the square seems to be glowing.

On concentrating on the orange square for a minute, I saw a cyan color after image on the white background. While concentrating on black dot in the center, the edges of the square seems to be glowing.

On concentrating on the purple square for a minute, I saw a comparatively clearer white color after image on the white background. While concentrating on black dot in the center, the edges of the square seems to be glowing.

On concentrating on the red square for a minute, I saw a clear cyan color after image on the white background. While concentrating on black dot in the center, the edges of the square seems to be glowing.

The yellow orange square's color looks most intense on purple and least on orange. The same size yellow orange square looks bigger comparatively on black, cobalt blue and purple squares.

The purple color looks most intense on red square and least on blue square. The purple square looks comparatively smaller on yellow, red and orange squares.

The intensity of black color and size looks the same on every color.

The intensity of color red is brightest on black, then grey and then white. The same square looks bigger on black and smallest on grey color.

Triangle

On concentrating on the triangle for a minute, I saw a cyan color after image on the white background. The edges of red triangle seems to be glowing when i concentrate on center black dot.

On concentrating on the triangle for a minute, I saw a bright white color after image on the white background. The edges of the purple triangle seems to be glowing when i concentrate on center black dot.

On concentrating on the triangle for a minute, I saw a faint white color after image on the white background. No glowing edges appear on grey triangle.

On concentrating on the triangle for a minute, I saw a white color after image on the white background. No glowing edges appear on grey triangle.

The green color looks brightest on red and most dull on grey color. Green triangle looks biggest on red and smallest on grey triangle.

The yellow looks brightest on red and the yellow triangle appears to be biggest in size, on red triangle. The intensity of yellow looks least on grey and size looks the smallest.

Circle

I see a cyan color after image after concentrating on the red circle for 1 minute.

I see a white color after image forming, after concentrating on the circle for 1 minute.

I see a clear white color after image forming with a grey outer line, after concentrating on the circle for 1 minute.

I see a faint bluish white color after image forming, after concentrating on the circle for 1 minute.

The same color yellow orange looks brightest on blue, then red, then yellow and most dull on yellowish green circle. The inner circle appears to be biggest on cobalt blue and smallest yellowish green.

The same color green looks brightest on blue and dullest on yellow color. The size of the circle appears to be biggest on blue and smallest of yellow.
